Lin Dan on course for second straight title


KUALA LUMPUR: Five-time world champion Lin Dan of China powered into the final to stay on course for a third Asian Badminton Championships (ABC) men’s singles title in Gimcheon, South Korea.

Yesterday, the 30-year-old Lin Dan took only 27 minutes to blow away his younger compatriot Liu Kai 21-14, 21-13 in the semi-finals to set up a meeting with Japan’s Sho Sasaki.
