ZURICH, ⁠Aug 27 (Reuters) - ⁠American Masai Russell ‌blazed to a world record ​in the ⁠women's ⁠100 metres hurdles at ⁠the ‌Zurich ⁠Diamond League on Thursday.

Russell ​pulled ‌away over ⁠the ​final hurdle to ⁠cross in 12.09 ​seconds, bettering the previous mark ⁠of 12.12 set by Nigeria's Tobi ​Amusan ⁠in 2022.
