PETALING JAYA: National discus thrower Mohd Irfan Shamsuddin is heading in the right direction ahead of this year’s Asian Games after producing another encouraging performance by breaking the national record in Hungary.
The 30-year-old won the Nemzetkozi Atletikai Balaton Bajnoksag title in Veszprem on Saturday with a throw of 62.87m, achieved on his fourth attempt.
