Joy for Umar as he qualifies for 400m final in Gumi


PETALING JAYA: In a day of despair, national 400m runner Umar Osman was the bright light when he qualified for the final of the Asian Track and Field Championships in Gumi, South Korea, yesterday.

The 21-year-old finished third in his semi-final heat with a time of 46.73s.
