Shahidan will hand over top post if capable candidate can step in


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Athletics Federation (MAF) president Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim is open to handing over the reins to new leadership ahead of the executive committee elections scheduled for June 15.

Speaking after chairing the MAF council meeting in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, Shahidan said he was willing to step aside if a qualified and capable individual could take the federation to greater heights.
