Azeem on track to go under 10 seconds in blue riband race


Back in form: After setting a new indoor 60m record of 6.60s, Azeem Fahmi and is looking ahead to break the Malaysian 100m outdoor record of 10.09s at the NCAA.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sprint sensation Mohd Azeem Fahmi is more determined than ever to break the national 100m record after making a strong start to his 2025 season at the Tiger Paw Invitational at Clemson University, California, on Saturday.

At the meet, Azeem shattered the national 60m record by clocking 6.60 seconds in the semi-finals, improving on his previous mark of 6.62s, which he set at the same competition two years ago.
