KUALA LUMPUR: The new leadership of Selangor Athletics Association (SAA) under Nurhayati Karim began their focus on unearthing future talents by successfully organising the Selangor Junior Championships over the weekend.

The event, which was the first activity since Nurhayati became the first woman to lead the association in December, attracted 1,650 athletes representing 62 teams in the Under-15 and Under-21 categories throughout the nation.
