Shereen eyes Asiad glory after cracking Shanti’s mark

PETALING JAYA: Sprinter Shereen Samson Vallabouy was just a baby when G. Shanti set a national record in the women’s 200m in 1998.

Yesterday, the 24-year-old US-based Shereen showed she had grown to be one of the country’s shining stars when she cracked Shanti’s mark that had stood tall for 25 years.
