Runner breaks own national record again in 24 hours

PETALING JAYA: Umar Osman is simply on fire. The 20-year-old smashed his 400m national record for the second time in 24 hours to reach the final at the World University Games (WUG) in Chengdu yesterday.

The SEA Games reigning champion lowered his national mark to 46.09s in Heat 3 of the semi-finals to book his ticket to the final, which will take place today.
