Sprinter finishes fifth but feels good ahead of Asiad

PETALING JAYA: Hotshot Mohd Azeem Fahmi missed out on a good chance to end Malaysia’s 25-year wait for a podium finish in the Asian Championships sprint event but the youngster remains positive.

The 19-year-old got off to a slow start before increasing the pace to clock a time of 10.25s to finish fifth in the men’s 100m in Bangkok yesterday.
