Irfan lauds association for throwing down challenges to young talents


DISCUS thrower Irfan Shamsuddin has always been an advocate for the budding junior track and field athletes and he is pleased to see Malaysian Athletics Federation (MAF) giving them the exposure at the Cambodia SEA Games.

MAF had included 31 athletes on category B, where majority of them are below 21, and there have been considerable success, with men’s 400m gold medallist Umar Osman, 20, leading the fray.
