I’ll give priority to athletes, says MAF president Shahidan


PETALING JAYA: Former supremo Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim has made a comeback as the president of the Malaysian Athletics Federation (MAF) after ousting incumbent Datuk Seri S.M. Muthu in the association’s annual general meeting (AGM) and elections yesterday.

Shahidan, the Federal Territories minister, garnered 20 votes to Muthu’s 16 to assume the top position again after leading the MAF from 2006-2012.
