THE United Chinese School Committees' Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong) welcomes the statement by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, who affirmed that all parties must "uphold the principles within the Constitution regarding the status of the Malay language", which must be manifested by giving "priority (to) the mastery of the Malay language".
