THE fatal stabbing of a female student inside a school in October as well as numerous cases of bullying in schools are a grave wake-up call that youth violence in our country is a deep-seated crisis we can no longer ignore. This is more than a disciplinary problem; it is a breakdown of character and noble values, and a reflection of the harm “digital influence” can cause.
Many parents are too busy to connect, schools prioritise grades over emotional well-being, and harmful online content has become a primary source of social activity for our children – all this demands a swift and comprehensive national response.
