PLEASE allow me to thank Bank Negara for coming to our assistance after we wrote to ask for help, “Can Bank Negara help senior citizens, please?” (The Star, Oct 3). Bank Negara contacted me and looked into our problem that same day.
My wife, who had not been receiving statements from her bank, was told she would have to switch to online banking or walk in to ask for her statements. When she requested that statements be emailed to her, she was told email statements were for business accounts only.
