It suggests our inquiries were substantive and made in good faith, rather than being baseless.
The Deputy Minister confirmed that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has recommended several governance improvements for the project to the ministry. This acknowledgement that enhancements are needed indeed indicates that certain weaknesses were present.
