The recent statement in the Dewan Negara by the Deputy of Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Aiman Athirah Sabu, regarding the RM250mil MyKiosk project, validates the initial concerns raised by MCA Youth. It suggests our inquiries were substantive and made in good faith, rather than being baseless.

The Deputy Minister confirmed that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has recommended several governance improvements for the project to the ministry. This acknowledgement that enhancements are needed indeed indicates that certain weaknesses were present.
