KUDOS to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on busting the smuggling ring that included five senior Armed Forces officers.
As a former Special Branch officer and a retired member of the Royal Malaysia Police, I am compelled to ask if these officers have compromised the integrity and security of the Defence Ministry (Mindef), particularly its intelligence arm – the Defence Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), operating under the Malaysian Defence Intelligence Organisation.
