I REFER to the report “No promotion for errant teachers” (Sunday Star, July 14).
Kudos to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for issuing the reminder that teachers who are negligent, undisciplined and perform poorly should be denied the privilege of time-based promotion.
