Factors behind uprooting of trees during storms

I AM writing to share my thoughts on the incidents of trees being uprooted, or their branches and trunks snapping, during thunderstorms in various parts of the country recently.

This is a natural occurrence that is caused by a combination of factors, which interact during severe storms.
