Cops and citizens together

IT is heartwarming to see that the police are upping their ante in holding meet the people sessions throughout the country. These sessions facilitate interaction between the police and the community and I believe they will help to foster trust and collaboration.

The police can disseminate important information like crime prevention tips and updates on local safety initiatives, and members of the community in turn can voice their concerns, provide feedback and perhaps suggest how the police can address their needs.
