WE applaud Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s courage in speaking out about Pales-tinians massacred by Israel in front of US President Joe Biden.

While Anwar and others have called the ongoing war a massacre, Rabea Eghbariah calls it genocide. The Palestinian human rights lawyer is a doctoral candidate at Harvard Law School. Earlier this month his article, “The Ongoing Nakba: Towards a Legal Framework for Palestine”, was pulled from publication by the editorial board of the Harvard Law Review (“nakba” is “catastrophe” in Arabic).
