AS we reflect on the passing of yet another World Environment Day, it is vital for Malaysia to take the theme (“Solutions for Plastic Pollution”) of this year’s commemoration seriously.

In terms of policies and national efforts, Malaysia has displayed a commendable commitment towards acknowledging and setting a direction for addressing environmental issues.
