AS a mother of four children who grew up with Swatch watches, it was difficult for me to explain why their favourite brand was suddenly the centre of controversy recently.
Children are generally attracted to Swatch watches because they are colourful, trendy and appeal to the younger generation.It is pretty disturbing and also worrying that the Malaysian authorities raided Swatch outlets, creating a spectacle over absolutely nothing. And Malaysia has made international news again for the wrong reason.
