Sports bodies need injection of new blood


AT the recently-concluded SEA Games in Cambodia, Malaysia won 34 gold, 45 silver and 97 bronze medals, placing seventh out of 11 nations on the medal tally.

This is our worst performance in SEA Games history since its inception in 1959! The blame game and finger-pointing is ongoing, with Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh, who took over just six months ago, facing the brunt of it.
