Don’t let the dogs loose

I ALWAYS thought running was the safest way of exercising. Not any more, though.

I face the peril of being bitten by a dog whenever I go out for a run. I once ran past a family out on a stroll with their dog. Without any warning or provocation, the dog came from behind and bit me on my calf. I’m sure mine was not an isolated incident, as many runners are complaining of being at the mercy of dogs during their runs.
