Avoid using harsh words


I REFER to the article by Prof Dr Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi, “Only right to respond with reason” (The Star, Jan 17; online at https://bit.ly/3XeG7H5).

Prof Tajuddin is right in calling for moderation from non-Muslims when making comments admonishing statements by Muslims, especially politicians from PAS. If non-Muslims refrain from responding in harsh tones, such remarks by zealots may not attract the kind of attention that jeopardises inter-racial harmony.
