Over the years, the Kampong Pandan Sports Complex is about the most popular and most-used sports complex in the Klang Valley due to its location and low rental charges. Despite its run-down condition, it is fully used every day, including weekends. Many schools in the vicinity hold their annual school sports at this venue.
About five or six years ago when Y.B. Khairy Jamaluddin was the Sports Minister, he made two visits to the Complex. News had it that the complex would be upgraded.
