WE are often told that the path to upward mobility and success is linear, and that with talent or education, one would surely be able to succeed in life irrespective of the circumstances one was born in.
We would like to believe this, but as the world and how we work continue to evolve, the deck is still stacked against those at the lower end of the social ladder.
