A possible solution for gambling ban issue

I REFER to these reports in The Star on Nov 16; “Move unfair to non-Muslims’ (online at https://bit.ly/3FsCdRz) and “Ban on 4D shops: Do not impose Islamic values on non-Muslim communities” (https://bit.ly/31ZtWWE).

I would agree that a ban on gambling would infringe upon the rights of those who are culturally okay with this activity. A ban could also drive the activity underground and beyond the grabby hands of the taxmen.
