Know when not to share unverified information


THE vaccination programme in Malaysia has slowed the spread of Covid-19. Despite this, there is a segment of society that continues to post/share on social media their unsupported belief that vaccination is not necessary.

It is ironic that some of them are citing Article 10 of the Federal Constitution, which protects citizens’ right to free speech, to support their argument that they are free to express their opinions, never mind that they are jeopardising our national interest in safeguarding public health.
