All is well at train station

WE refer to “Leave the lights on” (Text Us, The Star, Oct 15).

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) is pleased to acknowledge the complaint made by M. Mohamad who pointed out that the cashier counter and access to the lift at our station in Kajang was poorly lit and could be dangerous to commuters, especially senior citizens. Upon reading the complaint, we immediately conducted a thorough investigation at the areas concerned.

From our investigation, we found that the areas mentioned are not part of our premises. We also conducted an observation at the station until 6pm and found that the lights there were working properly.

We hope our explanation will clarify the issue. We value feedback from our customers to help us provide better service.
