Be flexible on rules for unvaccinated persons

DURING his first press conference as Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin announced that Covid-19 would be considered as endemic by the end of this month and people must take steps to live with the virus. This means they must continue to adhere to the standard operating procedures and other safety measures in addition to getting vaccinated.

The vaccination programme has been successful with over 80% of the adult population being fully vaccinated as at the end of September even though vaccination is not compulsory in this country.
