I FULLY appreciate the authorities’ concern for the health and well-being of elderly people (70 and above), in particular their ability to drive at their age. However, I do hope that the same concern can be shown in other areas of road traffic legislation.
Two weeks ago, I was caught in standstill traffic on Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur. I was on the left lane. A driver on the right lane inched towards the space behind me and ended up with his car slightly straddling the lanes.
