MCA Youth fully supports the Recall Act as part of the democratic progress

In the MCA Youth Central Committee (CC) meeting led by MCA Youth national chairperson Datuk Nicole Wong on Wednesday (Sept 8) the Committee unanimously agreed to support the House of Representatives Recall (HORR) Act. The committee also urges politicians on both sides and NGOs to come together and realise this important milestone for Malaysia’s democracy.

As the vanguard of MCA, the Youth wing shoulders the responsibility to push forward and engage in nation-building efforts for the welfare of all citizens. Hence, the MCA Youth CC completely agrees that the Recall Act is crucial in addressing the age-old problem of MPs hopping parties while still observing the principles of democracy.
