IN about two weeks’ time, Malaysia will be celebrating its 64th Merdeka Day. It has always been a tradition for Malaysians to fly the flag high during the month of August to demonstrate our love for the country.
The Jalur Gemilang is the country’s most cherished symbol. It signifies patriotism, a sense of nationhood and embodies the aspirations and sentiments of the rakyat and, most importantly, our love for and commitment to our beloved nation.
