Gaza: Long-term answer needed


THE Muslim Youth Movement Malaysia (Abim) refers to the ceasefire agreement finalised between the Palestinian Islamic Struggle Movement (Hamas) and the Israeli regime to end hostilities in Gaza.

While the ceasefire is welcome, Abim is of the view that it should not dampen calls to immediately stop the Israeli regime’s encroachment on the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its surrounding complexes and the expulsion of Palestinians from their hometown of Sheikh Al-Jarrah.
