Covid-19 vaccination hesitancy emerged nationwide when about 8,000 people cancelled their registrations for vaccination on their MySejahtera app when the Government announced that the Astra Zeneca vaccine (AZ vaccine) will be part of the country’s national immunisation programme.
The cancellations were mainly done due to the misconception about Covid-19 vaccines they received from the Internet or mass media without boundaries.
