OVER the last fortnight, the Klang Valley saw two water-related issues: an unscheduled water disruption as a result of odour pollution at Sungai Gong and flash floods that overwhelmed areas in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

The water cut impacted millions of users while the heavy rain caused some areas of KL to be submerged in 3m of water.
