Why so difficult to get the aid?

FIRST of all, kudos to the Malaysian government for taking care of the rakyat in these unprecedented times by rolling out various macro and micro economic measures to stimulate the economy and alleviate the burdens of those who are financially challenged.

I am a 48-year-old Malaysian who has been unemployed since mid-December 2019. Before that, I was employed on and off for only six-and-a-half months of 2019, hence my salary then was well below RM100,000, the threshold at which people can apply for e-wallet credit under Penjana (Short-Term Economic Recovery Plan).
