WE are now experiencing an exponential rise in confirmed Covid-19 cases. The numbers may appear staggering but in reality, the worst is yet to come. We are still in the early stages of this epidemic.
With some simplified conservative assumptions, on average two cases infect four who then infect eight who then infect 16, with each cycle taking five to seven days. The increase in cases is gradual initially, but once there is an uptick, it can become very daunting.
