I AM writing with regard to the snail’s pace construction of the car park at Penang Inter-national Airport. The signboard erected at the site indicates that the contractor gained possession of the site on Aug 15,2019, and that the project’s completion date is Oct 14,2019.
It is now March 2020 and the car park is not anywhere near even 50% completed. The construction has caused great inconvenience to users of the airport and this is not helped by the contractor’s poor site management, which also reflects badly on airport operator Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd.
