Remain vigilant, educate employees and don’t panic

THE Small and Medium Enterprises Association Malaysia (Samenta), as the oldest small and medium enterprise (SME) association in Malaysia, takes cognisance of the effects of the current novel coronavirus situation on businesses, especially SMEs in Malaysia.

Many of our members have reported a slowdown in business, particularly those in the retail, tourism and distributive trade. We are monitoring the situation closely and are in touch with various government agencies to identify issues that may crop up and to find ways to mitigate the impact on members.
