WITH regards to the indiscriminate caning of a female student in Johor, I do believe that the student was wrong in that she was rude to the teacher and should be punished.
I also believe that the teacher is at fault as he caned her so aggressively, without any hint of self-control, showing that he is currently ill-equipped emotionally and mentally for the job.
