AGECOPE (Association for Residential Aged Care Operators of Malaysia) read the recent news about the ill-treatment of elderly residents in a nursing home in Seremban with much sadness.

News reports on the ill-treatment of the elderly at nursing homes are not new, however, so while investigations are being carried out on this case by the relevant authorities, it is imperative that we take it seriously and not allow it to evaporate like the others have in the past.
