DR Shad Saleem Faruqi’s view that support of society is critical to the process of strengthening our judiciary, “Journey towards a new judicial era” (The Star, Feb 14), should be well received by all stakeholders.
Arguably, in the new Malaysia spirit, structural reforms should not be just the traditional top-down process but should also involve the input of ordinary citizens.
