Revamp moral education

I APPLAUD the Education Minis­ter’s earnestness and sincerity in strengthening the education system by emphasising a more humanistic and values-driven system which will assist in developing positive values and ideas.

It’s a known fact that in the mad rush to achieve academic excellence, core values have taken a back seat. As a result, disciplinary problems in schools are reaching a critical level. Students are now becoming more creative in their mischief.
