WE refer to the letter “Human factor in workplace mishap” (The Star, Jan 26). The Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), which is under the Human Resources Ministry, enforces the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994.

This Act stipulates that it is the duty of the employer to ensure, so far as is practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of all his employees.
