Look for other solutions to clinic problem

I REFER to the report “Clinics closed due to poor business” (The Star, June 21). It is distressing that this is happening in Malaysia.

When I was growing up, my father owned a general practice in Buntong, Ipoh. It catered to patients in the middle and low income group following the demo­graphy of the area.
