Base youth workers in schools

BULLYING is a systemic problem that often relates to how young people interact within their own families, schools and peer networks. Although school personnel are integral to addressing bullying, they are not always capable of handling the problem alone.

Recently, the Ministry of Youth and Sports tabled the new Malaysian Youth Policy (MYP), which calls for the creation of a cadre of professional youth wor­kers as the core of the country’s youth development ecosystem.
