MEMBER of Parliament for Bagan Datuk, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, recently gave full scholarships from Lim Kok Wing Univer­sity of Creative Technology to students from Hutan Melintang and Bagan Datuk.

Although rural education is one of the government’s key policy priorities, access to information in rural areas in places like Hutan Melin­tang has been limited. Infor­mation is an essential resource and can play a major role in the socio-economic development of Hutan Melintang.
